Business Development Engineer

  • Expanding Manufacturer
  • Established since 1931
  • International electronics group with activities in the design, manufacture and marketing of electronic equipment targeted at the global markets of industrial and building automation

The Role:

Business Development Engineer

  • Field based 100% new business development engineering role
  • Looking at the companies full range of products of sensors, controls, fieldbus & switching products with 80% focus on the switching products such as Relays, Soft starters, Limit switches, Variable speed drives & Industrial relays and sockets
  • Focusing all your time on OEM, Machine builder & HVAC markets
  • Average order value of around £20,000 with a very realistic target

The Ideal Person:

Business Development Engineer

  • From the Industrial Automation Sector
  • Electromechanical/Mechanical degree Preferred
  • Must have routes to market or previous experience selling into the OEM/Machine Builder market
  • Must have new business experience
  • Field sales experience
  • Distribution or Manufacturing backgrounds
  • Previous experience selling automation products such as PLCs, Drives, Soft Starts, Relays, Push buttons & Switching products
