The Role:

Key Account Manager

  • The main element of the position is to sell a portfolio of radiology products including all x-ray equipment, laser printers, software and analogue systems, CR, CD packs etc.
  • The job is a key account manager role (Approx. 40-50 accounts).
  • Every NHS and private hospital has some of their equipment within them so it about up selling other products into these accounts that already exist.
  • Liaising with Radiologists, Radiographers, Radiology Departments, IT departments and Procurement.
  • There will be an element of helping with tendering but they have experts in that field so only minimal assistance.

The Ideal Person:

Key Account Manager

  • The ideal candidate will come from radiology/radiographer background.
  • The top two sales people come with this experience.
  • This is not necessary though and as long as you have a good record of accomplishment in medical devices cap ex, and you are technically astute then this will also be considered.
  • Someone with very good IT/Tech experience would be an added advantage.
