The Role:

New Business Team Leader

  • As a member of the Sales Team, your main objectives are to inspire and lead a small team (2-4 people, rising to 6-8 over the next 12-18 months – and thus taking a full management role) as well as achieving your own personal sales targets.
  • Speaking with the senior leadership team, librarians and heads of departments within educational institutions across the world to secure new subscriptions
  • Reporting to a Sales Manager and/or the Head of Sales, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business, with a world-class team of sector and functional specialists, and a successful sales team that is delivering over-target on a monthly basis and doubling revenue year-on-year.
  • As new Business Team Leader you’ll Manage the end-to-end sales process from cold call to close, including prospecting/generating leads
  • A vital part of the New Business Team Leader role is to Coach and train your team to success, ensuring you and your team meet daily, weekly, monthly KPIs
  • Based in the companies vibrant London office.

The Ideal Person:

New Business Team Leader

  • Will ideally have 5 years sales experience with a track-record of delivering new business sales over the phone, meeting and exceeding targets
  • 1+ years’ experience of mentoring/managing a (small) team whilst continuing to deliver personal revenue target
  • The New Business Team Leader will have a degree/educational background in Drama, Theatre, English Literature or have a strong interest/work experience in the industry
  • Will have a passion for enabling Arts and Drama students across the globe to unlock their full potential.
  • The New Business Team Leader will be Pro-active, energetic with a can-do attitude, Emotional intelligence and strong listening skills, Excellent organisation and time management, as well as Strong written and verbal communication
  • Understanding of CRM tools – ideally Hub Spot
