Specialist recruiters with growth at our core

Back in the summer of 2001, Darren joined On Target Recruitment, initially in the Engineering sector as a Business Development Executive. Darren quickly progressed into a Consultancy role, and from there became a Managing Consultant.

After successfully taking on the Sales Director role in 2009, Darren then joined our Board of Directors. In 2012, he was key in the launch of our Medical sector. Due to his dedication, expertise and leadership skills, he was then appointed Managing Director in April 2018.

Thanks to the development of his recruitment expertise over 22+ years with us alongside his Business degree, Darren has been vital in improving and developing the business among different sectors.

Darren is a serious foodie, regardless of whether he’s at work or not! He also loves to travel to sunny spots and watch rugby.

Lisa has been with us for over 23 years, having originally joined On Target Recruitment in December 2000 as a Consultant in the Construction sector.

After honing her skills in Construction, she was awarded with a Managing Consultant role in the sector. Shortly after in 2012, she joined our Board of Directors, focusing on heading up Construction recruitment. As well as being an influential Director, Lisa is also responsible for Human Resources & Payroll, having boosted her knowledge with a variety of HR courses. 

Outside of work, Lisa is actively involved in charities close to her heart such as The Lily Foundation and Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust. You may also catch her supporting on the touchline of her son’s football games, or keeping fit by running. And with what time is left, she tries to squeeze in as many holidays as possible, with the South of France being her favourite destination.

Justin joined the On Target Recruitment team back in March 2003, originally as a Business Development Executive in the Commercial sector. He then became a Recruitment Consultant as part of the Engineering sector, which developed into managing a team in Engineering.

Now, Justin holds a Director role at On Target, focusing on Business Development and Training. Recruiting and training new members of the On Target team is Justin’s specialism.

In his 20+ years with us, Justin has overseen a wide range of sectors and responsibilities. He has assisted with the continued development of the business, being a key player in winning new major account business across all sectors.

Aside from work, Justin is a dedicated runner alongside colleague and friend David. He also loves to play squash and go cycling when the time and weather allows.

David has been an integral part of On Target Recruitment since joining the team in November 2003. His career with On Target started in our former Business Solutions Division. David went on to be a founding member of our Medical division in 2011, having recognised the opportunity to develop the sector thanks to the growth of the Medical customer base.

Since 2018, David has been on our Board of Directors. As a Director, he has been pivotal in leading recruitment in the Medical sector. With a degree in Applied Economics and Business Studies, David has successfully applied his expertise across all roles and responsibilities at On Target.

Running and watching rugby league are David’s favourite hobbies outside of work. He is the definition of a family man, with a wife and two young daughters at home.
