The Role of the Territory Manager:
-
Our client sells a range of advanced wound care dressings, absorbents, skin protectants, peak flow meters, gloves, & surgical tapes.
-
70% of the business will be in the community + 30% in the NHS/Acute.
-
Working very closely with the Senior TM that covers the North West. 80% of your time will be spent covering the Shropshire region although there will be time where you will need to travel outside your patch.
-
To promote, sell and ensure proper distribution of products from the product portfolio in both the Acute and Community.

To reach sales targets for the Sales Territory using effective communication methods in a manner that ensures ethical commercial approach, as well as adherence to corporate vision and guidelines.

Customers will include TVNs, Procurement, Nursing Homes, Stoma Nurses, Incontinence Nurses, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, District Nurses and a range of Key Opinion Leaders.

Participation with the Senior Territory Manager, Regional Business Manager, Clinical Nurse Advisor and Business Development Manager in the development and implementation of local business plans with the aim of achieving high compliance with new Formulary Awards and driving market share growth to achieve sales targets.

Close working with the Senior Territory Manager, Business Development Manager & Clinical Nurse Advisor within the Region to ensure all hospital and community formularies are secured and fully compliant.

Reporting to the Regional Business Manager.

Looking for someone to be based in the Shropshire area as that is where 80% of your time will be spent although there will be time when you will need to travel to Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Leeds, Cheshire etc…..to support the Senior Territory Manager

The Ideal Person for the Territory Manager:
-
Someone educated to Degree Level (Ideally in a science/sports or business related field).
-
2 x years commercial sales experience.
-
Looking to break into medical sales.
-
Something that is more devices led.
-
Someone used to selling into hospitals, quick learner, have a sense of urgency.
-
Like people that he can mould and that are coachable!!
-
You will need to be a strong team player.
-
The ideal candidate is energetic and looking to make a name for themselves.
-
You will come ideally from medical sales role.
-
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding challenging targets.
-
Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite software and the internet.
-
A full driving licence.
