The Job

The Company:

  • Currently looking to strengthen their OEM sales team.

The Role:

  • Sales Engineering role focussing on people who use pneumatics.
  • Typical sectors are Food, Machine Tools, Life Science, Factory Automation.
  • Managing approx 8-10 accounts.
  • Account management and business development role.
  • Typically you are selling a value proposition and it is important to sell the right proposition to the right person in the account.
  • This person will have a buddy for at least the first 6 months to help with learning.
  • Typically 1 quality call per day.
  • This job is about winning competitor business!
  • £40k-£47k plus 25% bonus.
  • Covering the South Central region, ideally located between on the M4

The Ideal Person:

  • Engineering qualification.
  • Previous sales experience into replicating OEM’s.
  • Relationship building skills.
  • Previous field sales experience of engineering products.
  • Worked with large production clients selling components.
  • Able to sell a value proposition at different levels within a business.
  • Able to deal with all levels within a manufacturer.
