The Role of the Field Service Engineer:
-
As a Compressor Service Engineer, you will be working mainly on Compressors and Compressed Air Systems, also some Vacuum Pumps, Fluid Pumps, Dryers, Filtration etc....
-
40 Hours per week, but earlier starts and later finishes may sometimes be required.
-
You will be paid door to door and there is overtime available.

Covering the North East around Northumberland, Durham, Teeside & Tyne & Wear.
-
Dealing with end users across a broad range of markets but the biggest is F&B and general manufacturing.
-
Provide high level of customer service and act as a communication interface between the company and its customers.
-
Repairs can be £200-£1,500 per fix and service agreements can be worth £1k-£80k.

Targeted on Efficiencies, First Time Fixes, Quality, Service Agreements etc...

The Ideal Person for the Field Service Engineer:
-
Ideally you will have a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the compressed air industry having worked on Compressors.
-
C&G, Apprenticeship or HNC + in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering, that they can teach the Compressed Air & Compressors.
-
May consider from Fluid, Pumping, Rotating Equipment, Process, Valves, Pumps, Systems or possibly Hydraulics.
-
Experience within the F&B industry would be a bonus.
