  • The Role:

  • Based out of the Head Office in Sheffield working as an Internal Technical Support - you will be responsible liaising with customers as well as internal & external colleagues in other departments ensuring effective lines of communication
  • Proactively engaging with customers selling Safety Equipment, Control Systems and Electronic Components such as Switches, Lighting, Detection Equipment, Locking Equipment
  • The main bulk of customers you will be dealing with will be OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturers) such as Food & Beverages, Rail, Electronic, Automotive, Machine Tools manufacturers as well as various End Users
  • Responsible for dealing with customer quotations, inquiries, issues and coming up with effective solutions
  • Expected to communicate effectively to deal with customers and resolve any queries – as well deal with proposals, tenders and bids
  • The Ideal Person:

  • The successful candidate must have sales experience in the Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • If you have worked as a Field Sales, Internal Sales or Applications Engineer will be suitable for this role
  • Preferable if you have worked in a Factory setting previously, looking to make a move into Sales
  • Engineering qualification in [Electrical/Electronic] is desirable, but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills – in order to deal with foreign-based customers
  • Must have the ability to work effectively to deadlines
  • Must reside in the Sheffield area or within a sensible commutable distance
