The Role of the Mechanical Design Engineer: 

• The role will suit a multi-disciplined Mechanical Design Engineer who has a natural enthusiasm, commitment and a desire to be responsible for products from conception to production. 

• Simple, effective, innovative designs for manufacture. 

• Direct involvement in project ownership, design, development and introduction of new instruments. 

• Development of design specifications, project briefs and project plans, suitable for presentation to the management team. 

• Used to working in a collaborative environment under pressure, meeting all deadlines including design and budget expectation. 

 

Benefits of the Mechanical Design Engineer:  

• £36,000 - £48,000 

• Annual company performance Bonus 

• 25 Days Annual Leave + BH

The Ideal Person for the Mechanical Design Engineer: 

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline i.e. Aerospace Engineering. 

• 3 + years’ experience in a Mechanical Design role. 

• Communicative and confident. 

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
