The Role of the Product Specialist

• Selling the full range of surgical & patient handling products - main focus is around gynaecology, general surgery & urology. 

• Selling to surgeons, consultants, band 7 nurses, team leaders & procurement. 

• Using salesforce as a CRM to track all activity. 

• Mature territory. Currently on target with lots of business to go at. 

• 50/50 split with NB & Existing Business. 

• Expectation is to do 4 key events/meetings per day. 

• Covering South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Riding, Durham & Northumberland (Durham, Goole, Hull, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Newcastle, Ashington, Leeds, York, Sheffield) 

 

Benefits of the Product Specialist 

• Basic £26k rising to £30k after 6-month probation and £40k after 2 years  

• Commission paid monthly - OTE should be £70k-£90k in year one for the successful candidate

• Very much personality based. 

• Ideally someone with a degree. 

• All training provided. 

• Min 1 year’s customer facing role. 

• Coachable and open to new ways of working.  

• Someone that is memorable, good energy, credible, good at delivering information. 

• Someone that is not afraid to ask for the order.
