The Role of the Sales Engineer:
-
This Sales Engineer position is remote and will involve visiting customers.
-
You will be tasked with contacting new and existing customers to understand their requirements with regards to PLC’s, instrumentation, sensors, control systems, vision systems and much more.
-
You will be given full training on the product portfolio; position sensors, safety technology, industrial communications and systems for machines and will become an expert on all things industrial sensor.
-
You will be speaking to a wide and diverse client base in the automation sector which consists of Automotive, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, chemical companies amongst many others.
-
On occasion, you will also go out onto site to help customers solve problems face to face.

The Ideal Person for the Sales Engineer:
-
A sales background in electrical/electronic engineering would be best suited.
-
Automation / PLC / Sensor experience.
-
Some exposure to a sales engineering environment.
-
Innovative, tenacious and positive.
-
You must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to influence.
-
ONC/HNC level qualification in engineering.
-
Experience of sensor technology in a wide range of industrial automation applications would be desirable.
