The Role of the Business Development Manager
-
Tasked with growing the IIoT and Solution Sales business.
-
This is a high-profile role that will be responsible for actively growing the IIoT software, SaaS and related controller solutions.

Identifying new business and generating sales by helping customers drive efficiencies - improving machine availability, maintain process quality and optimise energy consumption etc...
-
Regular travel and overnight stays within the UK plus occasional international travel will be required.

The Ideal Person for the Business Development Manager
-
Ideally educated to a minimum of ONC/HNC standard
-
You should possess a strong knowledge of IIoT hardware and software solutions
-
A knowledge of some of the following would also be preferred: PLC’s, HMI’s, Telematics, SaaS, SAP, IO-Link, Industrial networking, Sensors, Process instrumentation, Condition monitoring, Automation.

Ideally 2-3 years sales experience selling to the UK manufacturing industry and OEM’s.
