The Role of the Class 2 HGV Driver
-
Deliver products safely in accordance with legal requirements and standard operating procedures in an artic/tipper blower.
-
Always adhere to all Risk Assessments / Standard Operating Procedures.
-
Ensure compliance with Driver’s hours and Tachograph regulations
-
Comply with Daily Walkaround Checks and Nil Defect reporting requirements.
-
Report unsafe conditions using Safety Observation Reporting App
-
Use Lone Working App properly to ensure personal safety at all times.
-
All PPE requirements to be adhered to at all times.
-
Ensure any incidents are immediately reported to management using the Incident Report Form.
-
Always ensure compliance with Highway Code.
