The Company:
- Cash rich, leading distributor of Control & Automation equipment who have excellent partnerships with leading manufacturers.
- Looking to strengthen their end user sales team with the recruitment of a high calibre Sales Engineer.
- Offer manufacture training through a mixture of internal and external courses.
- Opportunity to develop within the business, getting valuable experience in the automation sector.
The Role of the End User Sales Engineer
- Field based role working for a company who specialise in the distribution of automation components and systems.
- Target of circa £850k.
- The product portfolio is very wide and consists of PLC's, Drives, HMI's, Industrial Controls & Safety Systems, Industrial Robots, Vision Systems, Laser Marking Systems, IOT, Software, Industrial Networks etc... however you do not need to be a technical expert.
- You will will go to customer sites and sell solutions into the Factory Automation environment, lots of work in the F&B & Automotive industries etc...
- Will spend 50% time dealing with existing low spending accounts, 10% dealing with large existing accounts and 40% dealing with new business.
- 4 days per week on the road with 1 from home on a Monday or Friday.

The Ideal Person for the End User Sales Engineer
- Ideally from an Electrical, Electronic or possibly Mechanical engineering background.
- Knowledge of automation and control gear.
- Looking for strong field sales people who have a desire to win.
- Very personable with strong account management skills.
- Hard working, self-motivated, outgoing, confident, team player.
