The Role of the Head of Ecommerce

Our client manufactures a range of own brand and 3rd party mobility/living aid products
-
Hybrid role expected in the office 1-2 times a week

As the Head of eCommerce, you will lead the digital strategy, responsible for driving sales and margin growth across all ecommerce platforms.

You will lead a talented team of 3-5 individuals, manage budgets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise website performance and deliver exceptional customer experience

Develop a data-driven digital strategy to increase traffic, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.

Enhance website functionality to meet and exceed sales targets. Work closely with web development teams to implement necessary improvements.

Oversee online campaigns (PPC, SEO, social media) and manage relationships with traffic agencies to achieve goals.

Optimise product pages, catalogue structure, and customer journeys to provide a top-notch digital merchandising experience.

Develop and execute pricing strategies that drive sales while maintaining profitability.

Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Bloomreach) to monitor and analyse sales data, informing strategic initiatives.

Manage quarterly budgets and forecasts, ensuring cost-effective spending and a strong return on investment.

Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends to continually enhance website functionality and user experience.
