Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services

• My client specializes in services like lighting, power, fire, security, lifts, drainage, ventilation, air conditioning, emergency power, and building management systems. 

• They handle new projects from initial client brief to final handover. 

• They conduct feasibility studies, surveys, and reports. 

• They provide troubleshooting, energy audits and service coordination with on-site engineers. 

 

The Role of the Mechanical Design Engineer: 

• Fast-paced projects designing and overseeing progression, liaising with design teams to ensure adherence to designs. 

• Heavy coordination involvement. 

• Projects include retail and fast food sectors. 

• Design and produce building services designs, including drainage, all piped services, mechanical ventilation and air conditioning. 

• Create drawings using Revit. 

• Work as part of a team as well as autonomously; must be self-motivated. 

• Attend site meetings to liaise with the design team.

• Must have experience of being on site working with clients.

• Must have experience using Revit. 

• Proactive attitude and preference to get stuck into projects. 

• Will have a similar role as a Mechanical Design Engineer
