Regional Sales Manager - CNC Machinery

The Company: 

• Formed in the early 80's 

• This company has grown to become possibly the UK's largest supplier of panel-related machinery and woodworking machinery. 

• They offer a wide range of products, from the smallest entry-level edge bander to the most sophisticated CNC Router and CNC Machining Centres. 

• Their advanced machinery ensures that their clients have access to the latest technology in woodworking and panel processing. 

 

The Role of the Regional Sales Manager 

• Focus is the flat furniture market, including office and kitchen furniture, MDF, and chipboard flat-packed requirements. 

• Engage with a variety of clients, from large manufacturers like Wren and Sharpes to small one-person operations. 

• Sell a wide range of machinery, tailored to manufacturers' needs, including packaging equipment for the industry. 

• Serve customers primarily based in the southern region of the country, from Oxfordshire downwards. 

• Spend 90% of your time on the road, with the remaining 10% in the office, and expected overnight stays 2-3 times a week.

The Ideal Person for the Regional Sales Manager 

•  A background in mechanical engineering is preferred to understand the technical aspects of their machinery. 

• Sales experience is essential, but it doesn't have to be industry specific – any sales background is welcome. 

• Computer literacy is important 

• Someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, and ready to learn and grow with us.
