Service Engineer - Processing Equipment

The Company     NATIONAL ROLE – FULLY REMOTE 

• The company’s journey began in 1990 the company was built on the expertise of just four scientists dedicated to advancing FTIR technology. 

• By 1993, the first FTIR analyser was launched, with sales expanding to Europe and the USA by 1994. 

• The 1990s saw growing demand for emissions monitoring equipment, fuelled by new environmental legislation and directives.

The Role of the Service Engineer 

• Travel to customer sites to perform duties. 

• Install, service, and repair instrumentation. 

• Represent the company and maintain professional customer relations. 

• Plan and prepare for site visits to ensure smooth execution. 

• Ensure products are installed safely, correctly, and meet customer satisfaction. 

• Complete site reports promptly after visits. 

• Receive training on instruments to service them effectively. 

• Provide customer training to ensure they understand instrument operation. 

• Will be office based for 2 days, field based for 3 days. 

  

The Ideal Person for the Service Engineer  

• Previous experience in working with instrumentation 

• Experience with gas analysers is desirable but not essential. 

• Must have a passion for travel and flexibility for overnight stays during the week. 

• Participate in an on-call service rota for key customers. 

• Willingness to cover on-call duties as part of the rota is essential.
