Design Engineer - Fluid Power

The Job

The Role of the Design Engineer 

• Designing Hydraulic Systems. 

• Overall budget responsibility for products. 

• Generate drawings using 3D CAD systems. 

• Liaising with customers on specifications and requirements. 

• Liaising with other departments within the company to move designs to production. 

• Creating technical documents and manuals for products. 

 

Benefits of the Design Engineer 

• £40,000 - £55,000 DOE  

• 25 Days annual leave + Bank holidays 

• Pension 

 

The Ideal Person for the Design Engineer 

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar. 

• Ideally a background in Hydraulics but can consider pneumatic / machine builder backgrounds. 

• Experience with budgetary responsibility of projects. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
