The Role of the Field Service Engineer
-
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of oil and gas monitors to ensure optimal performance.
-
Install new monitoring equipment at various sites across the Southeast, London, up to East Anglian and across the southern region of the UK.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client issues and offering expert advice on equipment use and maintenance.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment logs.

Travel to client sites within the designated regions, with occasional overnight stays (1-2 times per month) as needed based on job requirements.

Take control of your schedule to balance long days with the need to be home, ensuring a mutually beneficial arrangement.

The Ideal Person for the Field Service Engineer
-
Previous field service experience in electro-mechanical field.
-
Clean driving license.
-
Flexibility and the ability to respond well to change and pressure plus a methodical approach to problem solving and trouble shooting.
-
A passion for excellent customer support with a personable approach and the ability to communicate at all levels to develop long standing customer relationships.
-
Good knowledge of Microsoft operating platforms
-
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently to resolve customer issues.
-
Minimum 1 year experience servicing analytical equipment. Some knowledge of the water industry would be an advantage, but not essential.
-
Able to deliver a high level of customer care, willing and able to travel 5 days per week, Monday to Friday with some staying away.

Good English skills, both verbal and written.
