The Role of Hire Desk Controller: 

• As the Hire Desk Controller, you will be responsible for receiving orders for the hiring of Excavation Supports and Lifting & Safety equipment.  

• You’ll also be responsible for the requests of collections of equipment.  

• A key part of the role of Hire Desk Controller is the planning of transport for deliveries and collections. 

• You’ll be tasked with the accurate calculation of quotes for hiring and dealing with damages/calculating those costs.  

• Liaising with staff, both within the depot and the external sales force is paramount to ensuring an accurate and timely service to customers.  

• As the Hire Desk Controller, you’ll maintain an effective and positive relationship with customers. Building rapport overtime to retain existing business  

• The role of the Hire Desk Controller is based at the companies Bristol Depot, working Monday-Friday.

• £24k-£27.5k Basic Salary

The Ideal Person for the Hire Desk Controller 

• The ideal candidate will have experience of working as a Hire Desk Controller in a similar environment. 

• Individuals who have worked in a similar fast paced environment within the construction sector are encouraged to apply.  

• Will be adaptable and want to work as part of a team.  

• Will be confident juggling several tasks and working to deadlines.  

• Must be commutable to the companies Bristol Depot. 

• Will be looking for job security and/or career prospects.
