The Role of the Technical Sales Engineer 

  • As the Technical Sales Engineer you’ll provide technical support and training to plumbing contractors and key accounts on site. 

  • A key part of the role of Technical Sales Engineer is to attend exhibitions/trade mornings, supporting the companies stockists. 

  • Will be to ensure you maintain regular contact with the sales teams with regards to any site or product support they may require.  

  • You’ll visit and maintain contact with specified sites on a rota. 

  • As the Technical Sales Engineer you will carry out product site trials and audit existing sites to verify rebate claims.  

  • The role of Technical Sales Engineer will see you attend Colleges to carry out tool box talks and training sessions.  

  • The role of Technical Sales Engineer will see you covering the East Midlands, North East and East Scotland (East Scotland- circa 2 days per a quarter).

The Ideal Person for the Technical Sales Engineer  

  • Will be a plumber looking to work for a manufacturer.  

  • Must be Level 3 Plumbing and Heating qualified with a minimum of 3 years industry experience. 

  • Will understand underfloor heating and be confident providing support on site to customers & colleagues. 

  • Be confident travelling and presenting to apprentices at colleges. 

  • Want to work for a market leader with career prospects.  

  • Will have a full driving licence.
