Technical Support Engineer - Electric Vehicle Charging

The Job

• With a turnover more than £70m they are well positioned to continue their growth through the core business but also through expansion of new product ranges, such as this new division focused on EV (Electric Vehicle) Charging solutions 

 

The Role of the Technical Support Engineer 

• As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide customers with the technical information to install and maintain EV Charing systems effectively and efficiently 

• This will include designing, commissioning and remote fault finding of electric vehicle charge points 

• Occasional site visits will be required to understand customers' requirements, conduct surveys or to support the field sales team 

 

Benefits of the Technical Support Engineer 

• £35k Basic Salary, Profit Related Bonus, Pension, 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays 

 

The Ideal Person for the Technical Support Engineer 

• Any specific experience of designing, installing, commissioning or fault finding of EV chargers or electrical vehicle charge points will be an advantage. 

• However, if you have experience in electrical installation, building site practices and an understanding of current standards for electrical installation and building regulations we would welcome your application. 

• Particularly if you have excellent verbal and written communication skills and area methodical, organised, and have a disciplined approach to problem solving.
