The Role of the Export Sales Manager
- Selling a range of ground-breaking, multi award winning scooters that are low weight and compact size.
- Looking to sell to distributors in the EU. Already have distributors set-up in various counties so looking to get more out of them and find distribution partners.
- There is already lots to go out and will be passed anything live to take over.
- Looking to find new distributors in the EU.
- Will be expected to travel to the EU twice a month for 5-7 days at a time visiting current distributors, customer and training retailers.
- Train new customers, retailers, distributor staff and 3rd party sales agents in respect of their products to fold/unfold, technical changes in respect of product updates etc.
- Strategic/Commercial discussions with Distributor Management.
- Support UK Finance in respect of physical box counts/ Serial number verifications, parts and accessory counts.
- Ensure distributor maintains sufficient stock of parts and accessories.
- Will be expected in the office 1 day a month.
- Ideally located close to a major airport in the South but will consider candidates across the UK with access to a major airport due to the travel.

The Ideal Person for the Export Sales Manager
- Ideally a language - French, Spanish, German, Italian, or Dutch.
- Sales agent experience or similar (preferably in Healthcare/Mobility scooter sector), some marketing experience.
- Experience in selling to distributors ideally in the EU but will consider candidates with experience of selling in UK distributors.
- Experience in respect of online software packages and CRM tools.
- May consider a candidate selling directly to retailers.
- Happy to work alone in stand alone role, be self-motivated.
- Good online research skills.
- Ability to use MS packages effectively, especially PPT where necessary for customer presentations.
- Excel - Intermediate level.
- Candidate will ideally live in the SE.
