The Role of the Sequencing Solutions Sales Specialist:
-
You’ll make a positive impact and contribution to the Sequencing business by identifying and growing new and existing accounts and you’ll build and maintain strong customer relationships with key stakeholders.

Your goal will be to maximise sales of the Sequencing Solutions portfolio, which include qPCR and NAP product portfolio and leading services.

You will have a good understanding of academic, translational and clinical sales cycles with the ability to maintain and progress opportunities in your sales funnel, capture progress in CRM tools and ensure an accurate customer database is maintained.

Joining this dynamic sales team, you’ll be expected to work closely with colleagues in marketing, maintain and communicate a high level of market and product knowledge and to aid the development of marketing strategy and marketing plans that align with Business Unit and Company strategies.

The Ideal Person:
-
Educated to Degree level or equivalent in the field of life sciences subject (Genetics, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology) or you possess laboratory experience (preferably in NGS) with a clear understanding of qPCR and NA extraction techniques.

The experience of hands-on NGS techniques, and the understanding of NGS bioinformatics is not essential, but it would be an advantage.

Honest, resilient and disciplined with strong negotiation skills within the scientific market. You have a strong track record in sales territory management. Your excellent communication skills enable you to build strong partnerships across multi-disciplinary teams internally and externally.

With a strong problem solving ability, you will understand barriers to acceptance of new solutions and be able to drive positive sales outcomes. With a high level of organisational and flexibility, you will drive commercial excellence on your territory while using the latest digital sales engagement tools.

Full training will be provided and you should either live within the territory or be willing to relocate.
