The Company: Technical and Quality Manager

• Our client is an up and coming independent supplier of on-site and ready mixed concrete solutions and concrete pump hire.
• With significant growth over the last 20 years, the business now has a number of concrete plants, with more on the way.

• The Technical and Quality Manager will be an integral part of a long serving and trusted team.

The Role of the Technical and Quality Manager

• As the Technical and Quality Manager you will manage a small team with a view to expanding that team in the longer term.
• You and your team will be responsible for maintaining standards across all sites and ensuring production of ready mixed and on site concrete is efficient while maintaining compliance.
• This is an office based role with frequent trips across the area to other plants whilst also training members of staff on technical matters and keeping senior management appraised of feedback and changes to legislation.

The Ideal Person for Technical and Quality Manager

• To apply for the Technical and Quality Manager role you will have ideally managed a team previously or have strong desires to do so and can demonstrate experience of taking the lead or mentoring / supporting less experienced individuals.
• A technical qualification in concrete or concrete applications is required whilst also having the commercial awareness of a concrete business.
